About the role
A facilities and maintenance team in Malta is hiring a skilled, reliable Building Fabric Tradesperson. You will carry out a wide range of repairs, maintenance and fitting work to keep buildings in top condition.
What you will do
- Basic plumbing repairs and upkeep
- General electrical upkeep and small repairs
- Fit and repair gypsum board and drywall
- Painting and decorating
- Fit, repair and maintain windows, doors, locks and hinges
- Repair and replace tiles
- Repair skirting boards and other finishes
- Carry out planned maintenance across buildings
- Spot problems early and suggest the right fix
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas in good order
- Work safely and to a high standard
Starting pay depends on your qualifications, skills and experience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in building fabric, facilities or building services maintenance
- Hands-on knowledge of building repairs and maintenance
- Good English
- Good understanding of health and safety at work
- Able to work with little supervision
- Good at solving problems, with an eye for detail
- Proud of quality work and happy customers
- Honest, mature and a good team player
