About the role
A leading property company in Malta is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor. It looks after some of the best short-let homes on the island, and five-star cleaning is at the heart of the business.
You will lead the housekeeping team, check each apartment after it is cleaned and make sure it is spotless and ready before guests arrive.
What you will do
- Lead, support and train new and current housekeeping staff
- Check each apartment after cleaning against company standards
- Make sure it is clean and tidy, with fresh linen, towels and guest supplies
- Give your team clear feedback when something needs work
- Report repairs, damage and missing items
- Help plan cleaning rotas and priorities
- Keep managers updated on each apartment and on the team
- Help the team with cleaning on busy days
This is a full-time job with an immediate start.
Requirements
- Housekeeping or cleaning experience
- Experience leading a team is preferred
- Hotel or short-let housekeeping experience is a bonus
- A sharp eye for detail
- Reliable, organised and trustworthy
- Confident giving feedback and training others
- Friendly and professional
- Able to hold a conversation in English
- Free to work weekends when needed
