About the role
A company in Malta's construction industry is hiring a full-time Assistant Scaffolder.
Working with supervisors and foremen, you will help put up, change and take down scaffolding safely and quickly, following the project plans and safety rules.
What you will do
- Put up, change and take down scaffolding safely
- Check scaffolding materials before use and handle them correctly
- Make sure every scaffold is stable, secure and safe
- Load, unload and move scaffolding materials between sites
- Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen
- Wear full safety gear on site at all times: harness, helmet, gloves and safety boots
- Keep your work area clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions or incidents straight away
Requirements
- Proven experience as a scaffolder in construction
- Able to work safely and confidently at height
- Good knowledge of scaffolding safety rules
- Able to work alone and in a team
- Valid driving licence
- Scaffolding certificates are an advantage
